"He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus." - Matthew 14:29

If you are waiting for the perfect conditions to step out in faith it probably won't happen. Just believe and do not doubt. When the waves and fire come, speak to them and tell them you have the authority to do what God has called you to do.

When we step out in faith it is important that we don't over-think what we are about to do. We must just step, trusting that our foot will meet the water because the invitation came from Jesus to do it. Peter stepped out because Jesus said, "Come." When he was on the water he started considering his circumstances, and that is when he began to sink. The grace of God is that He meets us in the place of the storm. He doesn't let us sink. We have a promise in Isaiah 43:2 which says, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."
