The healthier and stronger a saint's spiritual life is, the less he joins the crowd (Jeremiah 15:17).


Most saints fall into the trap of thinking we needed God's grace only when we were yet sinners. We forget that throughout our lives, even after we are saved, we are still in need of the grace of God. Indeed, there is not a moment in our Christian walk when we are not under His grace.


The reason we do not have power is that we are not weak enough. The power of Christ is perfected only in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). It is not Christ making me powerful that is the secret to the victorious life; it is Christ being power UNTO my weakness.
