BORN OF THE SPIRIT
"Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14 NIV).
We must live lives of radical holiness, no matter the consequences – but don't confuse holiness with man-made legalism. True holiness is born of the law of the Spirit and produces overflowing life and peace, while religious legalism is born of the letter of the law and produces only barrenness and death. Remember, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (see 2 Corinthians 3:17).
Lift up your head and rejoice! Reject guilt and condemnation knowing that all your sins (past, present, and future) have been forgiven (Romans 8:1,2). There is nothing that can prevent you NOW from advancing God’s Kingdom through your Christ calling – bearing fruit that remains.
Romans 8:1,2 – “ There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.”
Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
