DAILY MEDIATIONS AND AFFIRMATIONS - 4

Ephesians 5:14 - "Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."

OBSERVATION:

If I truly want Christ to "shine upon me," I must arise from the distractions that emtomb me in lethargy and spiritual darkness.

By praying the scriptures in the epistles of Paul that pertain to our inheritance in Christ we come to know who we are in Christ; the power that is flowing through us and our authority over sickness, distractions, or other issues of life.

Matthew 22:14 - "Many are called, but few are chosen."

There is another way to say this. "Many are called, but few will pay the price in order to be chosen." But if we are to come into that which He has reserved for us, we must submit to His dealings, and come His way.

Genesis 1:2 - "And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters."

THOSE WHO ARE BORN OF THE SPIRIT WILL ALSO BE MOVING, FLOWING, AND GOING SOMEWHERE. THIS IS THE NATURE OF THOSE WHO ARE BORN OF THE SPIRIT.

John 3:8 - "The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
