THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - July 24, 2020

Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." For the "substance"; we must look on Jesus. It is the most blessed object that the eye of the mind can possibly fix upon; of all the objects under heaven Jesus has the pre-eminence in perfection, and he should have the pre-eminence in our meditation. It is He that makes us most happy since we possess Him, and we cannot but be joyful to look upon Him, for the name signifies Savior. "He is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them." (Hebrews 7:25)

MEDITATION:
Many believers live with the concept that God will lead them when it's time for them to do something. And so they wait, sometimes for an entire lifetime, without any significant impact on the world around them.

"GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and then TEACH THESE NEW DISCIPLES........."- Matthew 28:19,20

Jesus said to the Father, “As You sent Me, Father, send them!” (John 20:21).  God will empower you, just as He did Jesus, in your Christ calling, to walk out the fullness of your DESTINY, with that same boundless anointing of the Holy Spirit!

Jesus said to Peter -- "Feed My sheep."   You have to be the nourishment for other souls until they learn to feed on God. We owe it to God to bear fruit for His kingdom by equipping His sheep with and understanding of their Christ identity (discipleship).

AFFIRMATIONS:

I arise and shine for my Light has come.

He has raised me up with Jesus and seated me in heavenly places. He has given me His name. His Blood, His Authority. His Power. His Spirit.

I have the power to labor for the spiritual lives of others.
