The Breaker Anointing - 1
(Read Psalm 105:1-8; 27 & 63)

Luke 16:16 16The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

(This realm of God’s Spirit does not come without “pressing” – without contending. The first thing about pressing is seeking. Pressing into it means there is a passionate pursuit of God in prayer. The word “to seek” means to diligently look for and search out earnestly until the object of the search is located. It is as crying out and hungering for the presence of God.
The first thing about the breaker anointing is seeking.
The second thing is commitment – i.e. don’t give up.
The third thing is that the fact that it requires a pressing into it which means that there is a resistance, i.e. a demonic confrontation.)

Psalm 63:1-8 1 O God, You are my God; I shall seek You £earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water.2Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary,To see Your power and Your glory.3Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips will praise You.4 So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.5My soul is satisfied as with £marrow and fatness, And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips. 6When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches,7For You have been my help, And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.8My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.

Psalm 27:1,4,8 1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread? 4One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the £beauty of the LORD And to £meditate in His temple.8When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.”

2 Samuel 5:19-20 19Then David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You give them into my hand?” And the LORD said to David, “Go up, for I will certainly give the Philistines into your hand.” 20So David came to £Baal-perazim and defeated them there; and he said, “The LORD has broken through my enemies before me like the breakthrough of waters.” Therefore he named that place Baal-perazim.

(The power of God BROKE forth like rushing water for David at Baal-perazim, because David was always seeking the face and council of God.)

Luke 18:1 1Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart,
James 5:16 16Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. (Importunate prayer is:

a) a mighty movement of the soul toward God.
b) a stiring of the deepest forces of the soul toward the throne of heavenly grace.
c) the pressing of our desires upon God with urgency and perseverance.
d) the ability to hold on, press on and wait.)

Luke 18:2-8 2saying, “In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect man. 3“There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, ‘Give me legal protection from my opponent.’ 4“For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, 5yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.’” 6And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said*; 7now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? 8“I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

(The state and the appearance of the widows loneliness and weakness counted for nothing with the unjust judge. Solely because she imposed on the time and attention of the unjust judge her case was won.)

Matthew 15:21-28 21Jesus went away from there, and withdrew into the district of Tyre and Sidon. 22And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon-possessed.” 23But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came and implored Him, saying, “Send her away, because she keeps shouting at us.” 24But He answered and said, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” 25But she came and began to bow down before Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” 26And He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” 27But she said, “Yes, Lord; but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” 28Then Jesus said to her, “O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you wish.” And her daughter was healed at once.

(At first Jesus appears to pay no attention to her agony and ignores her cry for relief. He gives her neither eye nor ear nor word. Silence deep and chilling meets her impassioned cry. But she is not turned aside or disheartened. Jesus now declares that the woman is entirely outside the scope of His mission and ministry. She now comes closer falling at His feet worshipping Him and pleading her daughter’s case. The fact that she is barred from the benefits of His mission serve only to add intensity and increase boldness to her approach to Christ. Hopeful, urgent and un-wavered she stays near Jesus insisting and praying until the answer is given. Jesus teaches that an answer to prayer is conditional upon the amount of faith that goes into the petition. To test this He delays the answer. The superficial "pray-er" subsides into silence when the answer is delayed. But the man of prayer hangs on and on. The Lord recognizes and honors his faith evidencing importunate prayer.)

Matthew 11:7-10 7As these men were going away, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John, “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? 8“But what did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft clothing? Those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ palaces! 9“But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and one who is more than a prophet. 10“This is the one about whom it is written, ‘Behold, I send My messenger ahead of You, Who will prepare Your way before You.’

(Jesus is challenging their expectations, faith and expectancy. “I send my messenger ahead of you” – the breakthrough anointing “and he will prepare the way before you.”)

Matthew 11:12 12“From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.

(There is something about pressing into the kingdom with a violence – the violent take it i.e. seize it, then lay hold of it by force.
The fact that it suffers violence means that we react on the offensive.
There is a response in which we become aggressive in pressing in, and contending and taking ground.
The fact that we are pressing in means that there is a resistance.
The realm of “as it is in heaven” i.e. there is no such thing as heaven on earth without contending and breaking through with an aggressive pursuit of God in prayer. A commitment, a seeking of God, a pressing in against the demonic powers of darkness and contending – don’t give up. If we pray once and we pray again and we pray again and we pray again, we keep pressing and we keep breaking. There has to be a fiery heart of evangelism. If we are going to advance the gospel there has got to be an aggressiveness that comes out of a burning heart like John the Baptist – a burning and shining lamp. We are not going to move men without conviction, without a fire, without a burning heart of fiery witness and passion.)

Matthew 11:16-17 16“But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the market places, who call out to the other children, 17and say, ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.’

(Jesus says that the people of God are non-responsive – out of touch – lost passion.)

AFFIRMATIONS:

I receive the breaker anointing to open up heaven to break through any area of my life or ministry to others.

I press into and lay hold of the kingdom of heaven in an aggressive way.

I have a burning heart of fiery witness and passion when it comes to exhorting others in their walk with God.
