The Breaker Anointing -2

(Read Isaiah 54 & 1 Samuel 3)

Micah 2:13 13“The breaker goes up before them; They break out, pass through the gate and go out by it. So their king goes on before them, And the LORD at their head.”

(The first sentence of Micah 2:13 says, “The breaker goes up before them; They break out, pass through the gate and go out by it.” What does it mean to break out or through something. The Hebrew word “Parats” means to “breakout, to burst out, to grow, to increase, to be opened.” The implication is that something has been closed off, shut up, diminished, stunted, restricted or confined. Parats has to do with breaking out of a prison like structure or opening that which has been previously shut.

1 Samuel 3:1 1Now the boy Samuel was ministering to the LORD before Eli. And word from the LORD was rare in those days, visions were infrequent.

(This passage is about the transition from an old system to a new one. Because of compromise on Eli’s part revelation has been shut up. The second part of the verse says, “And word from the LORD was precious (rare) in those days, visions were infrequent.” The KJV says, “there was no widespread revelation.” The Hebrew word for “open” or “widespread” is Parats – the same word for “breakout”. The implication is that something has to be broken through for revelation to be released. Yet in 1 Samuel there is no breakthrough revelation, no revelation to break the Israelites out of where they were. They were stuck. Sometimes the thing that is holding us back is our failure to perceive spiritually. We had no revelation. One of the words for “hardness of heart” in Greek is “Sklerokardia” which means destitute of Spiritual perception. Our natural mindedness must be broken through for revelation to be released. Without that breakthrough our minds remained darkened. A veil blinds every Christian who fails to seek the Lord until revelation breaks through.)

Isaiah 54:3 3“For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left. And your descendants will possess nations And will resettle the desolate cities.

(Translates “parats” as “expands or spreads”, it means to break forth, breakout and burst out on the right and on the left. This is a day of breaking out into increase and enlargement. This is a day of breaking into the inheritance that is ours. However we must also experience a breaking out of old mind sets and blindness in order to break into the revelation of what is to be ours this season.)

Acts 1:8 8but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

(The empowering of the Holy Spirit is an enabling by God Himself to breakout of confined boundaries and enter into ever increasing territories in every area of our lives. We are to break into previously closed areas taking the gospel of the kingdom of heaven to areas where it is not known – whether they be local, national or worldwide. That necessitates the breaker anointing. Believers are therefore to be a “breaker people”.)

Assignment: Name two mind sets that are blocking you from your breakout today.
