Matthew 18:18-19 “Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.
19“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven."

(Two of the most powerful weapons of spiritual warfare are binding and loosing, or forbidding and permitting. Loosing releases or permits God’s will to enter the situation because God has willed that His purposes be carried out by asking in prayer.)

A loosing prayer can have the following effects:
Acts 12:11-12 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews. 12And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; here many were gathered together praying.

(It can cause the physical release of a captive.)

Luke 13:15-16 But the Lord answered him and said, “You hypocrites, does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the stall and lead him away to water him? 16“And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?”

Acts 3:1-7 Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the £ninth hour, the hour of prayer. 2And a man who had been lame from his mother’s womb was being carried along, whom they used to set down every day at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, in order to beg £alms of those who were entering the temple. 3When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he began asking to receive alms. 4But Peter, along with John, fixed his gaze on him and said, “Look at us!” 5And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!” 7And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened."

(It can release a person from sickness or disease.)

Isaiah 59:16 And He saw that there was no man, And was astonished that there was no one to intercede; Then His own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousnessupheld Him.

James 4:2 You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.

(It can loose God to Move in and change situations.

Loosing Prayer Example:

“Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the exceeding power of the blood of Jesus. Today we plead that blood over the life of ______, that Satan’s hold on his life be defeated and that he be released from _________ so that you might fulfill the destiny for his life that you pre-ordained since from before the beginning of the world. In the name of Jesus we thank you dear Heavenly Father for victory. Amen.
