Scripture Of The Day – February 14, 2022

"I stretch out my hands to You; My soul longs for You, as a parched land." - Psalm 143:6

 As we continue on into 2022 we lean into the secret place, spending more time with God, there is a new hunger for revelation concerning our calling in Christ, compelling us to "throw away" everything that carries no heavenly or eternal objective. We are in a season where nothing else matters except Jesus!

A new hunger is growing in us. It is essential to throw away the things that seemed okay to us in our last season: old thought processes, busyness for the sake of busyness, and meaningless things that consume our time.

Some things we have allowed in our lives cannot stay with us because of where we are going. Many are realizing it is meaningless—all is meaningless—except for God’s purpose for our life! The only thing that matters is God and advancing His Kingdom in the earth!

"But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14
