Scripture Of The Day - January 18, 2023

Psalm 91:10 - "Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place—the Most High, who is my refuge —no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent." 

To be intentional means to have a purpose in doing what we are doing. It also means we should have a specific goal (outcome) in mind when we do something. The need for increased spiritual warfare in this season goes without saying in light of what the enemy is trying to do with sickness, disease, and fear in all the world. 

We MUST enter into a season of contemplative and intentional prayer, and that being passive is not getting us anywhere. Be more intentional and encourage others to do the same, and the Lord would meet us at that point. Being intentional in this season is our agreement with God that we want what He wants.

God wants to do confounding things in our midst! It is time for us to lay down our complacency, open our eyes and ears, and step up into living in His purpose for our life! This should not be a sacrifice for us, but an honor! He is saying, "I won't force Myself on you. I am asking for us to do this together!" What an honor and occasion that the God of the Universe is welcoming us to be a part of the next great move of the Holy Spirit!
