Ten Power Exhortations - December 31, 2018

Are you ready to be even more aggressive in the area of faith in 2019 to see the impossible become possible for great and mighty things to take place? This is not a time to be fearful but be strong in the Lord in His Power and Might.
When the Spirit fills the heart, so does His power, grace, and direction; the face of Jesus is vividly and evidently near.
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might." - Ephesians 6:10

The more you believe and confess that God's favor is on you, the more you will see His favor work for you.

1 John 2:15 - "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."

Someone said, "You can look, but don't touch." This is bad advice. There is much visual distraction today. It's easy to be lured away into worldly thinking and be deceived by the enemy by (continually) looking at something that is beneath a Christian's dignity.

Job 31:1 - "I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?"

What we allow ourselves to see will dictate what we think.

The scripture says, "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7). But the verse right before it says "Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye.."

If we will saturate ourselves with the presence of Jesus, we will carry an open Heaven over our own head. Then wherever we go, we will create an atmospheric change by becoming a "gate of Heaven" for others.

Jesus never said the gospel was just a message you share with people so they can be saved. Paul said, "For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power...." (1 Thessalonians 1:5).
And Paul also said, "And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power" (1 Corinthians 2:4).
Paul had a radical revelation of the gospel in the ministry of Jesus and what that looked like.

Our calling is a heavenly calling, unto a heavenly life: not after this life, but NOW. In the process of finding your CALLING, you will find yourself, because nothing defines you as completely as your God-given mission.

Matthew 16:18 - "On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Where precisely are the gates of hell? Where does the devil sit in power?

The mind is the gatekeeper of the Kingdom of God. It is the place of access, transition, and power. It follows that the gates of hell are set up in people's minds. Jesus made this clear (Mathew 16:23).

Humanity without Christ at the center is satanic in nature. When you've been given the Spirit of God, you lose the privilege of claiming, "I'm only human." Paul rebukes the church at Corinth for behaving like mere men (1 Corinthians 3:3).
The gate of hell is in our minds any time we agree with a man-centered perspective or natural wisdom that does not know God. We empower demonic forces and become a gate to release his power to kill, steal, and destroy our lives.

Affirmations:

EVERY DAY AND IN EVERY WAY THE HOLY SPIRIT GUIDES ME UNTO ALL TRUTH.

AS I LISTEN TO HIS VOICE, THE HOLY SPIRIT TELLS ME OF THINGS TO COME.

BY MEDITATING ON THE SCRIPTURES AND COMMUNING WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT I AM FILLED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIS WILL IN ALL SPIRITUAL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING.

The Spirit of God is calling each of us to a higher standard:
"...walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Colossians 1:10).

This is not a season to be apathetic and loose about our lifestyles. We must pursue our destiny in Christ and God's purpose for our lives.

God calls all His people to a life of fruitfulness, which is the path to DISCIPLESHIP of others. As Paul writes: "Mark out a straight, smooth path for your feet so that those who follow you, though weak and lame will not fall and hurt themselves, but become strong." - Hebrews 12:13 (Living Bible)

There are three prisons the enemy has been trying to keep you trapped in—the prison of the past, the prison of pain and the prison of unforgiveness.
As you are released from these prisons, God is going to align you just as He said in Psalm 142:7, “Then … the righteous will gather about me….”
You can expect a sudden shift in relationships as God is going to realign you for the coming season.

In prayer, fire is the motive power. Religious principles which do not emerge in flame, have neither force nor effect. Fervency is the soul of prayer.

"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." - James 5:16
