Ten Power Exhortations - May 11, 2019

Revelations 3:15 - "I would rather you be hot or cold, but since you are lukewarm I will vomit you out of My mouth."

When we fully immerse ourselves in God's ways, we find everything we need and desire. Lukewarm complacency and not understanding and living in God's purpose for our life rob us of power, love, life, and liberty. The river of God's love and grace is available to everyone who believes. Jesus prepared it for our restoration, healing, and growth. It gives light, life, and supernatural power to everything it touches.

There is a level of life we can reach where we practice "thanksgiving as a lifestyle" - when difficulty comes along, we have a huge inventory of blessings instantly accessible to bring us into His presence as well as the joy and delight He has over us.

Quietness is the incubator for the Spirit of revelation. Do you want to hear God better? Do you want to commune with Him more? Silence is golden indeed in which the Holy Spirit meets with the souls of his saints.
"He leadeth me beside the still waters." - Psalm 23:2

Choose to lay down all disappointment -- choose to lay down all discouragement -- choose to believe again -- choose to hope again -- choose to expect God's goodness and fiery presence to awaken you afresh.

Jesus says, "And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." (Matthew 6:13)

This does not mean that God might steer us toward temptation against our wills. It means that we are to ask God for wisdom to stop making bad decisions so we won't put ourselves into situations that will cause us to compromise our relationship with Him.

You cannot retire too much from the mindless chatter of the world. You don't need much time to tell God that you love Him! Lift your heart to Him. Worship Him in the depths of your spirit.

"If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God." - 1 Peter 4:11
Our speech should be graced with God's Spirit. We are to speak as the ORACLES OF GOD. We should ask the Lord to fill us with His grace so we are able to represent Him well in our speech. God desires us to make the most of every occasion.

Godly people are called to bold, daring, fear-overcoming, breathtaking and impossible actions in order to accomplish the vision God has given to them.

The Lord will not excuse our pride just because we sing three hymns on Sunday and consider ourselves "saved."
The more we plug into and allow the working of the Holy Spirit, the more we embrace His work, and the more we allow Him liberty in our life to help us understand our calling in Christ -- these things transform us from glory to glory.

Do you know what you were born for? When you are dying, will you know why you lived?

In you shall the righteousness of God be revealed in this day, for it is the day of His great shining forth, through the Saints, through the sons and daughters of glory. Only rise up, do not delay. Take the gates of the enemy, and do not be ashamed.
