Ten Power Exhortations - September 16, 2018

Luke 12:35: "Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning."

"Dressed" implies walking IN the fullness of your calling and anointing, and ready for action as God directs. There is need to act and respond quickly, so your "lamp" must be filled and ready to burn. God's calling His Bride out of "luke-warmness" and into BURNING for Him. He is inviting you into a new dimension of passionate, contagious, radical pursuit of Him.

Trying to protect our self-image probably keeps us from seeing more of the power and glory of God than anything else.

We are priests and ministers of the New Covenant in the power and authority of the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead.
"Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts..... What are you O great mountain...you shall become a plain......amid shouts of 'Grace, grace to it." - Zechariah 4:6,7
What the Lord is showing us in Zechariah 4 is a heavenly blueprint or pattern for the Church. He tells us to die to ourselves, to come out of our own perceived strength and perceived power, and live in His ability.

Every believer in Christ Jesus can live in the perpetual continuous flow of the Holy Spirit daily in their life, for we've all been given the blessing and authority to tap into the root of continuous oil. That root is Jesus! (Romans 11:16,17)

Are you tired of going around the same old mountain hoping to get to the top, but the obstacles hold you back? It is time to shake off the old and get ready for the new and for receiving the workings of Christ in you, for NEW BEGINNINGS - for the rich oil of His anointing.

Our fight is the fight of faith: Do we believe, AFFIRM AND MEDITATE on what God has promised? Our war is against principalities and powers.

Jesus said His words "are spirit and are life" (John 6:63), which is to say that the substance or meaning in Christ's words represents an actual reality -- the living Spirit of the Kingdom of God.
Proclaim the Word of God with authority. Indeed, the Holy Spirit tells us to take up "the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God" (Ephesians 6:17). If we advance protected by the Blood of the Lamb, if we war armed with the Word of God, and if we shoulder in our hearts the Cross of Christ, we will truly be "more than conquerors through Him that loved us" (Romans 8:37).

You need to boldly confess the Word of God that covers your case every day. If you'll say it with victory and with love, it won't be long until God will move for you and your family.

"If you shall ask anything in my name I will do it." - John 14:14

Psalm 100:4,5 - "Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations."

Satan’s plan is to make us somehow accept, either through our upbringing, our experiences or through Church dogma that certain portions of the life of Christ are untrue or not valid in our case. Every battle we face in life is over the word and whether or not we can build our lives upon the faithfulness and integrity of God.

Hebrews 10:23 - "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is FAITHFUL;"

You become what you listen to. You become what you think, You become what's in your mind. If your mind is filled with the Word of God, then you will start becoming what it says. It will wash you.

"Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word." - Ephesians 5:25,26

Revelation 1:20 - "The mystery of the seven stars which you saw at My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches".

We are golden lamps, precious in the sight of God and continually shining and burning with His abiding love. He pours His oil and fire into us and we are the dispensers of the light! The lamp is not a light in itself; it's only the instrument for emitting the light. The lamp has to receive the oil and fire before it can dispense light.

Christ pours the unlimited oil of the anointing in us so that we can shine and burn continually, bringing the power, glory, and love of the Lord to the world.

Knowing how He views us in Christ will strengthen the inner man and demolish satan's strongholds.

"For the weapons of our warfare are not worldly but have divine power to destroy strongholds." - 2 Corinthians 10:4

Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
There is a condition within this verse that is very important -- "...called according to His purpose."
If you read this verse as it is written, then you will see that it is saying that: if you are in God's PURPOSE for your life and do all things according to His word (your calling, commission, and gifting) good things will come to you and the evil one cannot touch you.

"Jesus wept. Then the Jews said, 'See how He loved him!" John 11:35-36
Can you believe for the tear He weeps for you? Are you in a process that has not yet produced answers to your problems or your promises? Jesus says, "Believe, and you will see the glory of God."
Jesus understands the very personal, seemingly not understandable place you are battling and His tears are right there with you – dripping down over you in fact. And now, He calls you forth like Mary and Martha to follow Him further, through the tears, to a place where He plans resurrection and life!
