1. Deeds, Claims, and Promises of Jesus
Read Luke Chapter 24

1. The disciples at Emmaus called Jesus a ____________
(having given up on the hope that he was the ___________).

2. The disciples at Emmaus did not ____________Jesus
until Jesus____________the _____________and gave
it to them.

3. Jesus sought to give these two disciples a revelation of
the present events by ________________the scriptures
that concerned Himself.

4. There are ____________prophecies in the Old Testament
that foretell of Christ.

5. Jesus told the disciples to _____________in Jerusalem
until they received ___________from_______________.

2. Inheritance in Christ
Read Romans Chapters 1-8Chapter 1

Because God is righteous, He condemns sin and judges sinners. But He has provided a way by which man can fulfill the righteousness that He demands. All who believe in Christ are justified before God, and they receive power for victorious living as His disciples.
Apart from God and His righteousness, man stands condemned and hopeless because of his moral and depraved behavior.

Chapter 2
Paul declares, being a Jew and having God's law does not make a person righteous in God's sight.

Chapter 3
Paul shows that righteousness before God is not something that a person attains by his own moral goodness, by observing the law or by being born a Jew. Truth is that "there is none righteous, no, not one."
How, then are people made righteous before God? Through throwing themselves in faith upon the atoning death of Jesus Christ. Jew and Gentile alike are justified not by their works but by their reliance on Jesus and His saving grace.

Chapter 4
Paul shows how the Lord declared Abraham righteous on the basis of his faith in God's divine promise to give him a son (even though it looked totally imposible due to the fact that both he and his wife Sarah were very old). Paul talks about the God kind of faith that calls those things which be not, as though they were.

Chapter 5
All members of the human race are infected by Adam's sin of rebellion against God in the Garden of Eden. The punishment for these sins is death. But we have been delivered from this death sentence by Jesus Christ, who laid down His life on our behalf. He brings release from the judgment that our sins deserve.

Chapter 6
Receiving God's forgiveness through faith in Christ does not mean that we are set free to sin at will. The believer is united to Christ in such a way through his conversion experience that he wants to please his Lord through holy and righteous living. We are set free from slavery to sin to service in God's kingdom.

Chapter 7
Man's sinful nature has not been changed by the law. Paul shows that in his own strength, he was unable to overcome the sins of the flesh. The harder he tried to keep the law, the lower his tendency to sin dragged him down.

Chapter 8
Beilevers who have found new life in Christ are energized by the power of the Holy Spirit. They are not victimized by sin and death. God's indwelling presence strengthens Christians and enables them to walk in the path of holiness and righteousness.

Affirmations
(Repeat and Meditate on Theses as You Go Throughtout the Day)

Romans 5:17 - I reign as a king in the realm of life through Jesus Christ because I receive God’s abundant provision of forgiveness and the gift of righteousness.

Romans 8:14 - I am a Son of God since I am led by the Spirit of God.

Romans 8:37 - In all things I am a conqueror through Him that loves me.

Romans 8:32 - God, who delivered up His own Son for me, freely gives me all things.

3. Dunamis Life

Reality Of God's Life

John 17:16,17 -- They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Life, as we perceive it, is based upon whatever network of thoughts and opinions we are currently allowing to govern our souls

On the Other Hand, God defines reality as the "truth" found in His word.

For us to travel from our world into the reality of God, we must view Jesus' words as doors through which we enter God's eternal kingdom

In the combined meaning of all Jesus taught, we find the reality of the Kingdom of God. Victory comes when we line ourselves up to the Reality of God's life.
