Don’t relent, for you are sent

Here in the Western world, so often our lives, where we lived and what we did are a matter of thoughtful circumstance—potential income, neighborhood amenities, freeway proximity, the benefits for me &/or family. I’d throw God a bone every once in awhile and (sort of) include him in my planning, pretending to seek His purpose & stamp approval on the decisions arrived at by thoughtful…

How do we kill our mission- through admonition. When you speak with a sense of entitlement, you won't be flexible, you elevate yourself above humility and seek to be the righteous judge of condemnation.  Christ didn't leave us to pronounce condemnation, yet when focused on the law we seat ourselves above truth. You'll want to strike back at your reflection-rebuking the same sin that you know within you, and promote your self-righteousness. People will see you as arrogant, placing…

Bryan Wayne - Evangelist

Marriage is instituted by God as the foundational human relationship. This design for His purpose as well as the framework for us to understand Christ's relationship with us. Are we not the bride of Christ, empowered to love all through all circumstance-even marriage to an unbeliever? We always have the choice to love God or ourselves. Leaving a marriage no matter what your perceived circumstance ...is is a rejection of God's design in our lives and complete rejection of Christ's counsel. Jesus never said that divorce would be approved in some circumstance. He identifies those who divorce as hardhearted-meaning hearts harden against the Spirit and centered on their self-idolizing desires. Elders are many times too weak to stand for the clear instruction of Christ and His counsel by scripture. If one is unable to take up His cross and share in His suffering, and through Jesus love those who are unlovable-what is the believabilty of ones' claimed faith? Should Christ love us for 17 years and then decide that we are too self-willed. that enough is enough and sever His relationship with you, casting you out? Keep yourself from heaping up more sin to justify before men your life-dominating sin of divorce. No scripture supports destroying your family after you've 'loved enough'. Sadly this will leave you as the Proverbs 14:1 woman rather than than she of Proverbs 31, destroy your Christian witness, deny Christ, & invalidate all testimony or teaching of 'sola scriptura' that you may claim. Scriptural authority becomes relative to your happiness & circumstance, for you, your children, and all others looking on, as self-will rules over God's will. Attempt to validate this choice to those in prison or those martyred for refusal to deny Christ. Jesus lastly said 'what God has put together, let no man separate'.When were you given authority to overrule God, and reject His will for you?
