RESPONDING TO PROPHETIC WORDS

"Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets." - Amos 3:7

Along with timing, it is key to understand the role we play as workers in God's Kingdom to see prophecy come to pass. Without understanding that prophecy requires action on our part, we might become upset when a prophetic word seems…

LIFE OF FAITH IN THE HEAVENWARD ZONE

Colossians 3:2: -"Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth."

God creates a new category in our thinking. It is called "Heavenly things." Then He slides new files into that folder. He gives us pictures of His heart, pictures of our DESTINY in Him, and pictures of His love, and shows us how that love unfolds to others.…

TARRYING IN HIS SPIRIT

God is calling us into a new season. He is calling us into a new day. He is asking us to begin to understand the power we carry in Jesus' name. We need to understand the power of His Spirit that longs to pour through us. As we tarry in His Spiriit we carry it out to a broken world. We don't look to the anointed and the appointed, but look to the Author and the Finisher of your faith.…

Christians And Christmas

Christians And Christmas

“The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it" (1 Cor. 10:26).

It is often said that Christians should avoid Christmas and Easter because they have historical connections to pagan rituals. However, because 1 Cor. 8-10 tell us that it is OK to eat the meat that pagans have sacrificed to demons, it naturally follows that whatever the pagans have done in any other ritual…

GAZING INTO HIS FACE

Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no VISION [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish....."

In the case of Steven in the New Testament, he was a man who was full of faith and of the Holy Spirit (Acts 6:5). He was so full of grace and power that he performed great wonders and signs among the people during his day (Acts 6:8).…

EXPECTANT PRAYER

As we confidently pray according to the promises in the Bible we can expect all the promises of the Lord to be yes and amen in Christ! There are literally thousands of Scripture promises in the Bible that can be applied to our lives.

We can take the Father at His Word, because His Word is true, and He does not change. He is who He is, and He does what He has said He will do. He has all the wisdom and power needed to…

CRUISING VS. COASTING

"God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts." - Galatians 4:6

We can't let "COASTING" be our default setting in our life with God.

CRUISING (definition: to travel at a speed providing maximum operating efficiency for a sustained period) fits…

SHALL YOU NOT KNOW IT?

We are being presented "suddenly" moments, for such a time as this, to step into a BREAKTHROUGH that is bigger than our hope can comprehend. These might be moments that look like immense risk or require vulnerability, but we have to seize that incoming wave at the opportune time with fresh…

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND

We serve a mighty God! We can boldly declare with the apostle Paul, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek" (Romans 1:16).  We can be absolutely sure that the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the power of God to salvation for every single person who believes. The gospel of Christ is the power of…

INTERCESSORY WORSHIP

Jesus simply could not look upon the multitudes and not have compassion for them (Matthew 9:36, 14:14). His heart was so full of the love of the Father that He couldn't look without compassion.

We are to live the same way. We should be so full of God's love that rivers of living water should flow from our hearts and change lives and atmospheres…

DISCIPLING THE FUTURE

Matthew 5:1,2 - "...and when He was set, his DISCIPLES came unto him: And He opened his mouth and TAUGHT them...."

As much as we love, thank God for, and honor the ministries of the saints of the past, we need to reach for the MINISTRY of Jesus in His BODY in the here and now -- in the fullness of redemptive character and power TODAY. The…

REDEEMING THE TIME

In Ephesians 5 Paul is speaking about redeeming the time. We need to come into agreement with what Heaven is saying, echoing the decree. Ephesians 5:8-11 (paraphrased) says, "You were once darkness but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light... Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. All things are exposed, therefore, awake."

This is a…

WALKING IN THE NEWNESS OF DESTINY

The river of God is always moving, always changing, and we must change with it. Think how many times you've read the Word and remarked, "I've never seen that before." Exactly. It was revelation for "today." We must be very careful to not become locked into a belief system that never changes. When we do, revelation is no longer revelation. Ask yourself if your capacity for the living Word is the same as it was ten…

BEHOLDING THE LATTER RAINS OF HIS GLORY

"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place." - Acts 2:1

Pentecost happened at an appointed time, in an appointed place, with an appointed people. There was unity in the midst of those who had gathered continuously and with definite purpose to seek God for the promised outpouring. Men and women contended together for visitation from the Lord.

They did not know the…

THE GLORY OF HIS HEAVENLY ESSENCE

We are to be the glory of His heavenly essence upon the earth. As we allow God to expose the darkness and distractions in our lives, His light and nature will supernaturally come forth in power through each of us as we advance in our DESTINY.

Romans 9:23 - "That He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for…

ACCORDING TO THE RICHES OF HIS GLORY

In this season, the Lord will activate greater levels of strength and power in the depths of the hearts of those who are faithfully walking in the Spirit. We will see people arise who know their God, who are strong, and who do great exploits (see Daniel 11:32).

MOVING FORWARD ON DESTINY'S HIGHWAY

People…

ENLIGHTENING THE EYES OF OUR HEART

Ephesians 1:18-19 (NASB): "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe..."

We know that unless God enlightens the eyes of our heart, we will never arrive at the hope of His…
