Psalm 13:1 -- How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide your face from me?

Believers want to know God. God's wisdom is to let us 'taste' dryness that we might become desperate enough to seek for living water.

Many misinterpret the dryness and become so discouraged that they stop seeking God altogether and even stop attending church. But God desires that, in our desperation, we step into a NEW AND FRESH dimension of hearing His voice.

True change always comes when we find ourselves sick of where we are. It is after these seasons of dryness that the Holy Spirit catapults us into a fresh dimension of Himself.

Matthew 5:6 -- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

Isaiah 43:18,19 -- Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
