"We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." - 1 John 2:1

When the Holy Spirit shows us an area that needs repentance, we must overcome the instinct to defend ourselves. We must silence the little lawyer who steps out from a dark closet in our minds, pleading. "My client is not so bad."

Christ alone is your true advocate.

If we are to serve fresh bread, we must be gathering fresh bread each day. Jesus must be new to us each morning.

The Lord delights in those moments when we come to Him in childlike faith and surrender to request that He make something out of nothing.

The gift we fail to appreciate is time.  It is wisdom to number our days (Psalm 90), for we have only a certain allotment of time to fulfill our Christ calling.  Yet many squander their days with meaningless distractions.  Yes, all things are lawful but not all things are profitable (1 Corinthians 6:12)

Each of us has a cup to drink in route to our DESTINY.  We will swallow the full dregs, and though it kills us, we shall live.  Yet it shall not be us, but Christ living in us.
