Zechariah 10:1 - "Ask the LORD for rain in the spring — the LORD who fashions lightning thunderstorms, giving rain showers to mankind along with grain in the fields."
James 5:7 - "Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains."

These scriptures are not just referring to natural rain but to that bright shining cloud of God's Glory that would usher in the outpouring of the Spirit and open the way for the end time harvest of souls. It's our responsibility to press on in to Jesus until we come to understand God's purpose for our life and experience the Glory! (2 Corinthians 4:6). "Christ in us is the hope of Glory" - Colossians 1:27
