Matthew 13:44 - 44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. NASB

What is this "Gospel of the Kingdom"? It is the whole message of Jesus Christ. It is more demanding, more fulfilling, and more holy and more powerful than the "Gospel" of typical Americal Christianity.
According to Jesus, when anyone finds the Kingdom of God, "For joy over it he goes and sells all." Once found it must be sought first even before necessary food and clothing, and it is such a priceless treasure that one should rather suffer the loss of a hand or eye than lose the Kingdom.

Mark 9:43,47 - "And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go to hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell."

SEEKING THE HIDDEN TREASURE OF YOUR CALLING

"The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field." Matthew 13:44 NIV

This parable has something to say about your DESTINY. Maybe God has spoken to you in the past about something and then it seems to not happen? Over the next few months, you can expect God to speak to you about your situation. As this happens, it will require you to take action or to activate it.
There are things that God has called you to do that will indeed change the world. So, in a sense, the people that you are going to help are waiting for you to take a step to activate your life CALLING IN CHRIST.

CHANGE YOUR FOCUS

By developing key principles in your life, you will gain amazing clarity and get momentum:

1. It matters what you do on a daily basis. If you are sowing grumbling, complaining, doubt, and fear...then that is what you are going to reap. "...for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7 NKJV). If you decide to change that outlook and begin to sow blessing and love and encouragement, then it is going to shift the spiritual atmosphere over you.

2. The next thing that you need to change, or be aware of, is how you think. "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7 NKJV). It is not only what you do, but how you think about yourself. Begin to line up with God. Hebrews 11:1 talks about faith. This is seeing things that are not as though they are. We need to see and think that way about ourselves as well.

3. Thirdly -- believing, or having faith. This is really important. "...whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24 NIV). Even though your answer may not be there yet, keep believing, having faith, and setting up that spiritual atmosphere of belief. Remember that miracles could not happen around Jesus Himself when there was unbelief in a town, and he had to ask people to leave the room on occasion. Believing, right now, is the place that you can start to change things.

4. Finally, taking action. "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead...so faith without deeds is dead" (James 2:17, 26 NIV). So, what you do on a daily basis matters. How you think about yourself and the world around you matters. Believing and having faith matters! It sets things up for the BREAKTHROUGH. Taking action brings it all together.

Press forward! Going backward is not an option -- "We go from glory to glory, and glory doesn't go backward."
