Paul said, "I have been crucified with Christ." He did not say, "I have made a determination to imitate Jesus Christ," or I will really make an effort to follow Him" -- but -- "I have been identified with Him in His death. " Once I reach this moral decision and act on it, all that Christ accomplished for me on the Cross is accomplished in me.
My unrestrained commitment of myself to God gives the Holy Spirit the occasion to advance His Kingdom 24/7 through my Christ calling as I bear fruit that remains by dying to my self-life as I give it up for the advancement of the spiritual lives of others.
AFFIRMATIONS:
The bread and wine of communion confirm my oneness with Jesus. (John 17:21)
I give myself to Jesus, as an offering to establish His Kingdom in the earth. (Ephesians 5:1)
I was called by God to be free! But, I don't use my freedom as an excuse to live in sin and do only what I want. Instead, I serve others in the way of love. (Galatians 5:13)
