Abraham waited, trusted, and believed for HIS promise (Isaac), not fully realizing yet how it played a role in God's bigger promises that He was, and still is, establishing. (Genesis 18:11-15)
Many of us are waiting for our "Isaacs" to come in many forms, but what will happen when we receive such? Will we rest in that beautiful promise, or will we take that promise and keep moving forward -- moving from glory to glory advancing His Kingdom, believing God for as many Isaacs as there are stars in the sky and sand on the seashore?
God is doing something much bigger, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Our "Isaac" is not just our answer, it's an invitation into something much greater for such a time as this.
Likewise, you may be living before God right now in faith and patience, after many trips around the mountain waiting to inherit your "Isaac." Your part is key to His unfolding plan to bring His Kingdom to earth -- but you need to lift your vision higher. You need to see others beside you who are properly equipped and ready to participate in your vision -- this is Golgotha, the place where you die to self and invest yourself in the spiritual development of other believers who need to know and understand their Christ identity. Going after your Isaac alone can be a long, weary journey and God wants you to look up and see the bigger plans that are unfolding.
