The Apostle Paul said he was "apprehended by Christ." Think about that. That's what a Christian is; someone who has been apprehended (stopped, and taken into the custody) by Jesus Christ.
When God gives you a promise or word or vision which you know is from Him – don't just look at it but apprehend it. Grasp hold of it – and bring it home.
In the Bible it says, "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen..." The problem is…

Exodus 4:2-4 - And the Lord said to him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod. And He said, Cast it on the ground. And he did so and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the Lord said to Moses, Put forth your hand and take it by the tail. And he stretched out his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand.

Although God will bless His people, there are some things that He will not agree with--for example, our religious mindsets. The Holy Spirit cannot stay and dwell in these wrong concepts as they are contrary to the truth, because He is the Spirit of Truth.
There are three mindsets that we need to change.
The FIRST mindset is one that most…

"For this reason, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in Heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened [kratos] with might [dunamis] through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-to know the…

We are called to live as ambassadors of another realm (see 2 Corinthians 5:20 and Philippians 3:20). In every situation we encounter we are given a choice. We can "call it as we see it" or we can choose to "call it as He sees it."
Before we can call it as He sees it, we have to actually see it as He sees it. Ezekiel understood this when the Spirit of God brought Him into a valley of dry bones and asked, "Son of man, can these bones live?"
Ezekiel knew that…

Each one of God's children has a testimony to the Risen Christ that will bless others as it is shared. The Lord Jesus desires for us to have a worship mindset that embraces holy works. From this place of relational security, the Holy Spirit will produce His witness to Christ through us. If we try to approach the harvest from any other perspective than His love, we are in danger of running on empty. Intimacy with God is everything, and without this, we have nothing of any worth to offer to…

We are called as fishers of men (see Matthew 4:19; Mark 1:17). The question posed is, What exactly are we using to attract people to our message?
One of the keys to Jesus' effectiveness at changing the hearts of men from the world to the Kingdom, was His ability to not look at people where they are, but to look at them in the sense of where they could be.
He called people out of their sin, but not simply by condemning their sin; rather,…

Romans 12:1-2: "I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service and spiritual worship.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."
The great promise in Romans 12:1-2 is that if our minds are transformed,…

"Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band." Revelation 1:12, 13
The lampstands are allegorical representations of the Church, the Body of Christ, God's people, Believers in the Light:
"The mystery of the seven stars…

We are to be the glory of His heavenly essence upon the earth. As we allow God to expose the darkness and distractions in our lives, His light and nature will supernaturally come forth in power through each of us as we advance in our DESTINY.
Romans 9:23 - "That He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory."
How does this happen? Is it because of all the good things that we do?…

The Bible tells us that prior to the beginning of Christ's ministry, "there came a man, sent from God, whose name was John" (John 1:6). John the Baptist was sent from God. His baptism of REPENTANCE was not the last event of the old covenant to be completed; it was the FIRST event, the ground breaker, of the NEW COVENANT. John was sent by God as a forerunner to Christ's ministry. His unique purpose was to immerse Israel into an attitude of repentance (Acts 19:4). He…

"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place." - Acts 2:1
Pentecost happened at an appointed time, in an appointed place, with an appointed people. There was unity in the midst of those who had gathered continuously and with definite purpose to seek God for the promised outpouring. Men and women contended together for visitation from the Lord.
They did not know the exact time it would happen, or even the precise manner in which God…

The river of God is always moving, always changing, and we must change with it. Think how many times you've read the Word and remarked, "I've never seen that before." Exactly. It was revelation for "today." We must be very careful to not become locked into a belief system that never changes. When we do, revelation is no longer revelation. Ask yourself if your capacity for the living Word is the same as it was ten years ago.…

Matthew 5:1,2 - "...and when He was set, his DISCIPLES came unto him: And He opend his mouth and TAUGHT them...."
As much as we love, thank God for, and honor the ministries of the saints of the past, we need to reach for the MINISTRY of Jesus in His BODY—in the fullness of redemptive character and power today. The entire earth is groaning in anticipation to see this type of ministry in the…

Jesus simply could not look upon the multitudes and not have compassion for them (Matthew 9:36, 14:14). His heart was so full of the love of the Father that He couldn't look without compassion. We are to live the same way. We should be so full of God's love that rivers of living water should flow from our hearts and change lives and atmospheres everywhere we go. This is what Jesus was referring to when, in Matthew 10:8, He said, "Freely you've received, freely…

We serve a mighty God! We can boldly declare with the apostle Paul, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek" (Romans 1:16). We can be absolutely sure that the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the power of God to salvation for every single person who believes. The gospel of Christ is the power of God!
The presence of the Holy Spirit, which brings both the manifestation…

GODS FIRE COMES FROM BEING IN HIS PRESENCE
God is calling us into a new season. He is calling us into a new day. He is asking us to begin to understand the power we carry in Jesus' name. We need to understand the power of His Spirit that longs to pour through us. As we tarry in His Spiriit we carry it out to a broken world. We don't look to the anointed and the appointed, but look to the Author and the…
