BORN INTO A NEW REALM OF EXPECTATION

We Believers have generally been too focused on and conscious of the imperfections of our lives. Repenting from our sins head-on is important and vital, but there is a whole other glorious side to our relationship with God that goes unrecognized by many.

WE ARE CO-HEIRS CONFESSING CHRIST

When we catch a glimpse of this new identity we…

HUNGER FOR GOD

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1

Faith is stronger than belief. To believe is to give intellectual assent; to have faith is to be inseparable from the object of your devotion. Belief can be changed or lost by a more persuasive argument. True faith is so much a part of the person it can only be taken by…

BECOMING THE WORD

"Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of…

INTERCESSORY WORSHIP

Jesus simply could not look upon the multitudes and not have compassion for them (Matthew 9:36, 14:14). His heart was so full of the love of the Father that He couldn't look without compassion.

We are to live the same way. We should be so full of God's love that rivers of living water should flow from our hearts and change…

EXPANDING OUR UNDERSTANDING

1 Kings 19:14 - And he said, "I have been very zealous for the Lord, the God of hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Thy covenant, torn down Thine altars and killed Thy prophets with the sword. And I alone am left; and they seek my life, to take it away."

Much of Elijah's discouragement came from the false expectations he had placed upon himself.  In his dejection, alone and hurting, Elijah…

RULE AND REIGN

"Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you...." - 2 Timothy 1:6

Every believer holds a position of authority that comes with God-given talents or gifts and is hidden in Christ Jesus, above all demonic authority. So why are so many of us INEFFECTIVE?

God didn't save and deliver you so you could preserve His gift in a sealed…

EMBRACING SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT

Only with God-given discernment can we tell apart the good and evil influences that surround us. We often come up against "demonic influences". This influence is a spiritual force that twists and taints and pollutes God's ways. It is like a spider web, and people get stuck -- writhing in their captivity, they act out of a "web mentality".

Religious spirits endeavor to interfere…

Three Deceptions That Can Derail You From Your Destiny

Philippians 3:17 -- "Brethern, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us."

Paul faced a major problem in the first century. False teachers had slipped into the Church. The apostle warned the Philippians, and us by extension, to recognize the differences between a true man of God and a deceptive teacher or prophet. Without any sense of…

SEEKING THROUGH ARDENT ZEAL AND INTENSE EXERTION

Matthew 11:12 - "And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force (as a precious prize - a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion)."

The violence of the Kingdom is not physical violence but focused earnestness, a deeply passionate pursuit of God…

SUNDAY SCHOOL - July 11, 2021

John 8:39 - "They answered and said to Him, 'Abraham is our father.' Jesus said to them, 'If you are Abraham's children, do the deeds of Abraham.'"Abraham was an alien and a stranger on the earth. The goal of his life was to have a place in what God…Continue
