The Lords Prayer

Matthew 6:9 - Pray, therefore, like this: Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name.

Hallowed means respected or revered. This is an expression of praise. Praise and worship are the primary activities of heaven. And so it is to be for the believer here on earth. The more we live as citizens of heaven, the more…

What Am I Designed For?

Deuteronomy 30:19 - I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life.

He was saying, "Stop procrastinating and hoping you will eventually get somewhere in life. Decide whether you're going to get a curse or a blessing. Decide whether you're going to die or live."

(Read Matthew 3:1-11; 4:17-25; Mark 1:8-18 and 1 Corinthians 1:17-24)

Matthew 28:18-20 18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”…

Christian Sense

Romans 4:17 - Even God who quickeneth the dead, and called those things which be not as though they were.

Many people know what it means to have "common sense", which is sound, practical judgment. "Christian sense", on the other hand, involves seeing adverse circumstances through the eyes of faith and exercising your God-given…

Seven Basic Power Points of Prophecy

2 Kings, Chapter 6

Verse 8 - "Now the king of Aram was at war with Israel. After conferring with his officers, he said, 'I will set up my camp in such and such a place.

Verse 9 - "The man of God sent word to the king of Israel: 'Beware of passing that place, because the Arameans are going down there.'…

Transformed Thinking Consciousness

Romans 12:2 - Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the entire renewal of your mind so that you may prove for yourselves what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect in His sight for you.

The only way to consistently do Kingdom works is to view reality from God's perspective. The mind is the essential tool…

The Kingdom Of Heaven

False foundations, paradigms, illegitimate structures, systems, and limitations must bow to the Father's Kingdom. His Kingdom is perpetually coming to earth, and one day will fill the earth in Father's glory, as the water covers the sea.

The Kingdom of God is within us, and whether we are noticing it or not, will continue to break through on earth as it is in Heaven. The shaking must…

Christ Increasing In Our Life

John 3:27,30 - John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. He must increase, but I must decrease.

Some Christians say that they were trying to decrease so the Lord could increase in their life. This seems noble, but it is not biblical, and is actually the opposite of what John the Baptist said,

If we try to decrease before…

The Three Parts Of The Spirit

The Three Parts of the Spirit

#1 Conscience

The conscience discerns right and wrong and is not influenced by knowledge or outward persuasion. Conscience will condemn sometimes when one’s reasoning condones.

Scriptural examples of the functioning of the…

Revelation Of Royalty

l Chronicles 14:2 - And David perceived that the Lord had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.

David had been anointed king by the prophet Samuel when he was just a teenager. He'd known for years that someday he'd rule over Israel. Yet somehow, it hadn't really sunk in.

Finally it dawned on him - he…

Changed, Transformed, and Transfigured

Romans 12:2 - "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind."

That word transformed is translated from the Greek word from which we get the term "metamorphosis." It's used in Scripture in two other places - when Jesus was transfigured on the Mount as He spoke with Moses and Elijah - and in 2…

Faith - Planning - Destiny

Luke 4:28,29 -- "For which of you, wishing to build a farm building, does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see whether he as sufficient means to finish it?"

Planning is faith. God has a plan for us but he doesn't plan for us.

Planning pulls the promises out of eternity and puts them into time.

Witnessing The Cross

Genesis 4:3,4 - And in the process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering.

Hope - The Entrance Into Destiny

Hebrews 6:18-20 -- "Therefore, we who have fled to Him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God's inner sancturary Jesus has already gone there for us."

We often live our lives without experiencing the power of hope because we fail to realize what is available…

Carnal Thought Systems

2 Corinthians 10:4 - The weapons we use in our fight are not the world's weapons, but God's powerful weapons with which to destroy strongholds.

Psalm 17:15 -- "As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

Many read the Scriptures simply to reinforce their current beliefs. Although they read the entire Bible, their mind only sees certain doctrines. Instead of believing what they read, they merely read what they…

Spiritual Convulsions

Psalm 78:23-25 -- "Yet He commanded the clouds above, and opened the doors of heaven; And He rained down manna upon them to eat, and gave them food from heaven. Man did eat the bread of angels; He sent them food in abundance."

As we read in John 6:31-35, Jesus is the manna from heaven. We must have a fresh encounter with Him, every…

The fifth place where Jesus shed His blood was where they drove the spikes through His feet, nailing Him to the cross. The blood shed from His feet also redeemed us from our loss of dominion and authority.

Ephesians 6:10 - "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might."

The Greek word "Kratos," relates to God's manifested dominion and therefore…

Called To Be God's Messengers

Genesis 28:12 - And he had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

The word translated "angel" in the text is the Hebrew word "Mal'ak" (mal-awk'), which means to despatch as a deputy; a messenger; specifically, of God, ie. an angel (also a prophet, priest or teacher).…

Should We Pray To The Holy Spirit?

The scriptures show us that God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth. When the Spirit comes, Jesus said, He will teach you all things of mine, He will be with you and in you. This is a pretty close, intimate relationship. If the Holy Spirit is going to teach us, is it only a one way discourse? He speaks into us, but we do not respond to Him?

If prayer is worship, then as God is Spirit, so we pray to the Spirit, who is…
