Numbers 11:5,6 - We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions and the garlic: But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna before our eyes.
THEY WERE UNSUCCESSFUL IN DERIVING FROM THE MANNA ALL THE TASTE AND STRENGTH THEY WERE LOOKING FOR, NOT BECAUSE THE MANNA DIDN'T HAVE THESE BUT BECAUSE OF THEIR CRAVING FOR OTHER FOODS. SIMILARLY, IF SPIRITUAL PERSONS COULD RAISE THEIR APPETITES ABOVE CHILDISH THINGS, THEY WOULD DISCOVER IN SPIRITUAL FOOD THE SAVOR OF ALL THINGS.
2 Kings 6:17 - And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
IN SPIRITUAL WAREFARE, THE BATTLE IS NEVER LIMITED TO AN "US AGAINST THEM" HUMAN AFFAIR. IT ALWAYS INCLUDES "THOSE WITH US" AGAINST "THOSE WITH THEM."
Mark 11:23 - For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. BECAUSE GREAT POWER IS RELEASED WHEN MY HEART AND MOUTH START WORKING TOGETHER, IT'S EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT I PUT THE RIGHT THINGS INTO MY HEART.
