Matthew 27:32 - "Now as they came out, the found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name. Him they compelled to bear His cross."
Certainly, Simon the Cyrenian's life was impacted and transformed as he literally "took up" the Cross of Christ and was "pressed into service."
Jesus has also called each of us to "take up our cross," or to be "pressed into service" for the kingdom of God. This call is still true for us today just as it was for Simon the Cyrenian.
To "Take up our cross" we must come to the place of death. We must die to ourselves and to our selfish dreams and fully embrace the plans and blueprints that God has written for us in heaven (our Destiny).
