What happens in meditation is that we create the emotional and spiritual space which allows Christ to construct an inner sanctuary in the heart.
Salvation is more than a legal exchange affecting our position before God. Salvation also includes the exchange of deep loving affections and adoration. God first communicates His enjoyment, longing, and affections for us and, in turn, we respond in a similar way.
"We love Him because He first loved us." - 1 John 4:19
As the believer loses all possession of self, he gradually knows the new life of resurrection (the purely divine life which dwells within).
Resurrection is more than a doctrine, it is becoming a way of life. As the consumer-driven culture is losing hope in "things" and asking if there is not more to life than this, a renewed company of the elect are going to be RISING OUT OF DEAD THINGS and pressing to the mark of the prize of their high calling (their DESTINY).
Are you willing to come openly before God, presenting your hearts naked before Him? Are you willing to cast all aside that would grieve His presence?
