VIOLENT APROACH TO THE KINGDOM
Matthew 11:11-12 "Truly I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than John the Baptist! Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12"From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.
Most of our lives do not measure up to Jesus’ expectations because we have not had a sufficiently violent approach to the kingdom of heaven. The Amplified Bible reads: "and from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force. (As a precious prize- a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense excursion.)"
Our lives must be lived as kingdom people. We shall not inherit that great kingdom by living quite lives of self-satisfied complacency. We must take it by force and we must take it now!!
Psalm 145:11 - I shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power, to make known to the sons of men God's mighty deeds and the glorious majesty of His kingdom.
