Flowing Out

Ezekiel 47:9 - And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes.

THE WATERS, WHICH REPRESENT WHAT GOD HAS DEPOSITED WITHIN US, MUST REACH THE SEA, WHICH REPRESENTS THE MASSES OF HUMANITY WHO ARE WITHOUT…

The Spirit of Lethergy And Spiritual Darkness

Spiritual Drowsiness

Just because we walk and talk does not mean we are truly awake. Zechariah was not sleeping when an angel roused him "as a man who is awakened from his sleep" (Zechariah 4:1).

Perhaps we too need to be shaken from our slumber to possess the promises of God! Amazingly, in spite of all the signs, wonders, and warnings announcing that we are truly…

Scattering The Coals Abroad

Matthew 24:12 -- And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

Satan wants you to become the temperature of the culture that surrounds you, a believer bound by a stone cold heart. By exposure to hardness and darkness in the times that we live in, our love and passion will begin to cool by degrees.

When you see churches and…

Isaiah 53:5 - "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."

The seventh place Jesus shed his blood was in His bruises; He was bruised for our iniquities.

"Iniquity" means a spirit that tries to break us down. It is a spiritual force on the inside that pressures us to bow…

Seven Places Jesus Shed His Blood - 6 - Jesus' Pierced Heart Won Back Our Joy

The sixth place Jesus shed His blood was where a soldier shoved a spear into His side and blood and water poured out. Jesus died from a broken heart -- from the weight of our sin. It is a physical phenomenon that when a person's heart bursts, the water and blood of his body flow together.

When Jesus announced His ministry in the synagogue, He read from the scroll:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,…

Seven Places Jesus Shed His Blood - 5 - Jesus' Pierced Feet Won Back Dominion Over The Places We Walk

The fifth place where Jesus shed His blood was where they drove the spikes through His feet, nailing Him to the cross. The blood shed from His feet also redeemed us from our loss of dominion and authority.

Ephesians 6:10 - "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.

The Greek word "Kratos," relates to God's manifested dominion and therefore…

Seven Places Jesus Shed His Blood - 3 - Jesus' Crown Of Thorns Won Back Our Prosperity

The third place Jesus shed His blood broke the curse of poverty.

Genesis 3:17-19 - "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying 'You shall not eat of it': Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life. Both THORNS and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you…

Finding Truth

Psalm 17:15 -- "As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

Many read the Scriptures simply to reinforce their current beliefs. Although they read the entire Bible, their mind only sees certain doctrines. Instead of believing what they read, they merely read what they already believe. Rarely do they find new truths in the…

Qualities Of Faith

Faith is the confident speaking of God’s word:

Luke 18:1-8 Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit. He said, “There was once a judge in some city who never gave God a thought and cared nothing for people. A widow in that city kept after him: ‘My rights are being violated. Protect me!’ He never gave her the time of day. But after this went on and on he said to…

Spiritual Currency

Isaiah 54:1 -- "Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forht into singing, anc cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman," says the the Lord.

You may be barren now. Some seasons that we go through are seemingly filled with desolation, but take comfort in knowing that every season has a time frame and a…

Different Spiritual Posture

Matthew 16:6 -- "Watch out! Jesus warned them. 'Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.'"

Ephesians 1:17 -- "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him."

The Pharisees emphasized knowledge over revelation and their blatant disregard for God's voice. Of all the people that Jesus encountered, His harshest statements were…

Authority Of The Believer

Luke 10:19 -- "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you."

Genesis 1:26 -- "And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over ever creeping thing that creepeth upon the…

Daring To Believe For Something "NEW"

Our cry for a fresh experience of God is at the core of being open to believe for something NEW.

Brick by brick, life by life, God is creating a kingdom, a "spiritual house" (1 Peter 2:5).

The Holy Spirit gives assignments to people, "to each according to each one's uinique ability (Matthew 25:15). As He calls, He equips. To discover this assignment we must be open to something NEW.

We have an uncommon call to an uncommon life. "The Spirit has given each of us a special…

Bringing Forth The Son Of God

Luke 1:28 -- And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

Ephesians 1:6 -- To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

The word "freely given" or "accepted" in Ephesians 1:6 (the Greek word - Charitoo) is the same word used for "highly favored" in Luke…

Pause, Reflect -- What Am I Doing?

1 Kings 19:9 9Then he came there to a cave and lodged there; and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and He said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” (So the word of the Lord came to him “what are you doing here Elijah”. This is one of the most important questions God will ever ask us. His questions probes the reality of our spiritual state. He is asking “how did your service to me become dry and desolate?” He wants us to know that when we…

Fighting From Victory

Psalm 78: 9-11 - The sons of Ephraim were archers equipped with bows, yet they turned back in the day of battle. They did not keep the covenant of God and refused to walk in His law; they forgort His deeds and His miracles that He had shown them.

The apostle John wrote, "They overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even…

The Parable Of The Talents

(Read Matthew 25:14-30)

The parable of the talents emphasizes that not all believers are given the same level of callings and gifts. The man who travels to the far country is Jesus and the servants represent us. A talent is a measure of money that represents the level of our call and gifts. Two important points in this…
